Jordan has been with The Going Yard Baseball Warehouse since February of 2015 and enjoys sharing his passion for ball by interacting through instruction with the players. Prior to working with The Going Yard, Jordan played minor baseball in Saskatoon for the Saskatoon Rays, the Saskatoon Red Sox and the AAA Giants. Winning 7 provincial titles along the way. Two of those provincial wins were with the Raymore Renegades as a pick up player. He played college baseball at Williston State College in North Dakota and at Bluefield State College in West Virginia. Jordan obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and gained accolades as an Academic All-Conference and All American. In his senior year he was the recipient of the Senior Scholar Athlete Award. He is proficient in all disciplines of coaching but specializes in catching and hitting technique. Jordan is a NCCP Certified Coach and has completed the Competition Development Course offered in Orlando, FL. He began his coaching experience with the Saskatoon A’s Midget AA program in 2014 and has coached with the Fall Baseball Program since 2012. He has returned to his alma-mater, the Saskatoon AAA Giants as the assistant coach for 3 seasons, and now head coach. The team won a provincial title during his first year as a coach in 2015. In 2018 the Giants were Provincial fanalists and attending Western Canadians. He also enjoys assistant coaching with the Sask Baseball Academy. As a coach, Jordan has experience with one-on-one instruction and team practice. He strives to find the most interesting and innovative ways to teach new techniques in baseball by travelling North America attending coaching conferences such as the annual American Baseball Coaching Association. His passion is baseball, the personal competition to be better, the team experience, the relationships with team mates and coaches, the extended baseball family and most of all, the game itself. He plans on remaining involved in the future of baseball and giving back to a sport that has given him so much.
